The Rideau Hall Foundation is delighted to invite you to a virtual panel discussion, The Path Forward: Indigenous-led Innovations in Education, on November 12 from 2:30-4:00 pm Eastern. The online panel will shine a light on excellence and innovation within the Indigenous teacher education field, as well as why it is critical for Canada to have more First Nations, Inuit and Métis teachers.
Panelists will share their perspectives on what being Indigenous led means and why it is important to have Indigenous programs developed for and by Indigenous people, including how this will enrich the Indigenous teacher education landscape. By highlighting the perspectives of Indigenous-led projects and partnerships, the session will showcase and inspire innovation and future programming in the Indigenous teacher education space.
